Meg Lamb, Animal Law Institute

Meg was admitted to legal practice in 2014 and currently works as a solicitor with the Environmental Defenders Office, a public interest environmental law community legal centre. She joined the Animal Law Institute as a Director in January 2021, having previously volunteered as a solicitor for a number of years. 

Meg loves animals and is passionate about using the law to protect them. She has previously volunteered with PAWS, Voiceless, the Barristers Animal Welfare Panel, Action for Dolphins and the NSW Young Lawyers Animal Law Committee, and has published articles on environmental and animal law. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Bachelor of Law from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
