Our Board of Directors

  • Meg Lamb

    SECRETARY

    Meg was admitted to legal practice in 2014 and currently works as a campaigner/lawyer with animal welfare and conservation organisation, Humane Society International (Australia). She joined the Animal Law Institute as a Director in January 2021, having previously volunteered as a solicitor for several years. 

    Meg loves animals and is passionate about using the law to protect them.

  • Amanda Richman

    Amanda Richman

    DIRECTOR

    Amanda is the Ethical Stewardship Lead at Australian Ethical Investment and was previously a senior associate in the Allens competition and consumer law team.

  • Rachel Lamb

    Rachel Lamb

    DIRECTOR

    Rachel is an Assistant Parliamentary Counsel at the Australian Office of Parliamentary Counsel. She is a lawyer with a background in regulation and public policy.

    Nathan has more than a decade of experience in Corporate Advisory, Investor Relations, and Marketing & Communications.

    George Blades

    DIRECTOR

    George leads the disputes and regulatory investigations team of Insignia Financial, a large financial services company.

    Mike has worked as a senior lawyer for several Federal Government agencies, in the private sector, and with the Animal Defenders Office.

    Naaman has experience working as Special Counsel for a private law firm in Canberra and as a senior lawyer for the Federal Government.
